Christian Healthcare Ministries is a nonprofit health cost sharing ministry. The ministry isn’t a profit-seeking enterprise. Instead, their purpose is to glorify God and serve His people; their members are the sole concern. CHM is an affordable, biblical, and compassionate healthcare cost solution for Christians in all 50 states and around the world. They are not a health insurance; rather, the first and longest-serving health cost sharing ministry, having shared more than $3.5 billion in their members’ medical bills.
The New Testament’s direction that Christians carry each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) is the foundation of this nonprofit health cost sharing ministry.
CHM is a 21st-century representation of how members of the early Christian Church shared to meet each other’s needs (Acts 2 and 4). And it works: members have faithfully shared each other’s healthcare costs since 1981.
We as RAGGED coffee have felt the need to not just bring people together in relationships with coffee but to be a company that helps others. That stands by what we believe in. We feel the best way to do this is to give a percentage to Christian Healthcare Ministries. Since 2014 we have been apart of the CHM family. Having had two beautiful babies, a broken arm, many of Doctor visits we can say the burden of not having insurance has NOT weighed on us.
With each bag of **** coffee bag sold *** percent is donated to the prayer page at CHM. The donation given to CHM goes towards medical bills inquired.
